Thrive Through Menopause
Hi, I am Alix!
And I’m your all-around coach of everything: Health, Nutrition, Personal, Life, and finally Menopause.
Through all of my certifications, I have found that I love helping women discover the best versions of themselves that may have been tucked away being a wife, mom, daughter, friend, breadwinner and now mid-life and pre-menopause/post-menopause may be changing what this looks like. In the past, women were either told “just deal with it” or too embarrassed to discuss hot flashes, vaginal dryness, peeing their panties just breathing or wanting to rip of your partners head for chewing too loud. Guess what? It is normal and there are strategies to not just “deal with it” but thrive and take control of it!
As a certified specialist through Girls Gone Strong (GGS) and Menopause 2.0 with Dr. Stacy Sims, there are 5 main principles I will work alongside with you:
01: Coaching YOU.
Your journey is different than your mom, sister, best friend or co-worker. None of us is exactly alike exact we as women all go through the stages of menopause. Our body changes, hormones fluctuate, lives change and along with that our perspectives on goals and the world. With all this, we are uniquely special in this journey.
02: Adapt, Don’t Just Accept.
We will change what we can and find alternatives for what we can’t. We need to realize it is not a problem to fix but a major life transition that deserves our time and respect. We do not want to rush but find what will work long term.
03: Keep the Big Picture in Mind.
Menopause brings a big bag of change, and the goal is to feel better. Our body is made up of many systems and it is all connected, so sometimes it may be trial and error as we work through these.
04: Focus on What You Can Change.
Acknowledge the uncontrollable and address what we do have the ability to change. Through changes in lifestyle factors that include sleep, nutrition and exercise which can all help positively impact our symptoms and how we choose to work towards change.
05: Set Goals, Take Charge.
Focus and shift your energy towards what you can do. As your coach I will be here to help you discover what you want to change through setting vision goals. Together we will set our goals and objectives. Some things may be out of my scope of practice, but I will help you find the right person who can.

Internally and externally, no an alien has not taken over your body, even though it may feel like it.
Hormone Therapy
Is it right for you? There are hormone replacement therapies that can help but if you choose the natural route, there are MANY resources we can implement.
Stress & sleep
How this affects your body and hormones.
Nutrition
Why you need to eat differently than you have before. Why certain diet fads work for others and why it is not for you.
Exercise
What your body needs to do in this phase of life.
Relationships
Maybe you are an empty nester for the first time, relationships may be shifting, drifting or completely changing.
Emotional
This change as a woman may be exciting and sad at the same time. Together, we can work towards saying thank you to the woman you were and hello to who you can be.
I hear ALL THE TIME: “what worked for me before does not now, why?”
Sometimes it feels like overnight a new body showed up and took over. Science is our friend now. So much is being discovered all the time. I will give you science and fact-driven information to help you make the best decisions for you.
What is this program and why do I need to join?
Over the 20 sessions we focus on:
Hormones and how they change and what therapies help
Nutrition focusing on the what and when of food.
Exercise as it pertains to metabolic health, body composition and what it looks like in your fitness program.
Stress and how it affects your body and ways strategies to decrease your load.
Sleep and why more is better (and how to win at those night sweats) and prepare your body and environment.
Social/Relationships and how this changes in life.
Emotional feelings surrounding this big, beautiful life change. It can leave you sad and weepy even if you never break a sweat (literally).
I take each of these topics and break them down. We will focus and which ones you may need more of and which you may need less. Each package is designed a little differently. You can do the quick run through of 10 weeks, a bit more information with 20 weeks or take our time and really dive in at 40 weeks. Each package includes a weekly call or Zoom, emails and information/ homework for our sessions. Finally, a monthly group meeting you can join if you would like.

Package 1
The 10-week down and dirty.
$750.00
We work through your vision statement and hit the ground running. Information on every topic is included, but it focuses mostly on your goals and needs.
Each week has a 30-minute call or Zoom, scheduled at your convenience.
Package 2
The 20-week slowdown.
$1250.00
We will take two weeks to go through each topic. The focus is still on your goals and needs, but we can discuss more of what is happening in your journey.
Each week has a 45-minute call or Zoom, scheduled at your convenience.
Package 3
The 40-Week deep reset.
$2000.00
Let’s really get to know each other and your body. Here, we take 40 weeks to take it all in. Each topic has two weeks of its own to really dive into what is happening. Every 4-5 weeks, we take a breather and discuss what we have covered, what you want more of, and re-evaluate your goals
Each week has a 60-minute call or Zoom, scheduled at your convenience.
Where do we go from here?
Step 01:
Let’s talk. Schedule a call with me to see if we fit. We need to be a team and we need to see if we can trust and count on one another.
Step 02:
After a call and we decide “yes, we are now BFF’S” we can see which package works best for you based on time, finances, and what feels best in working on the future you. Sometimes this needs to be sweet and slow, others say, “let's do it NOW!”
Step 03:
A package is picked, an agreement is signed in blood (JK’ing). Kind of.. I want you to be THE BEST YOU THAT YOU CAN and I will fight for you every step, stumble, rock block, self-sabotaging behavior you throw at me. I feel it is my gift in life to help you discover and thrive the rest of your life.
Step 04:
Schedule and get going. We will start with working on your Menopause Vision Statement. This will help us really dive on what you want to work on first.
